Have the CCU connected via Ethernet cable on 5ghz I launch a game and my connection reads excellent hdr is the bummer my games lag and stutter everywhere not enjoyable at all. I have checked all connections they all seem good.... any advice would be great I am on the 2 month pro trial but really want to keep this and not cancel but games are unplayable 🙁 submitted by /u/whambides [link] [comments]

  • First day on Stadia, really liking it, some questions please
    by /u/Hoylegu on June 6, 2020 at 10:26 pm

Hi all, I just received my Stadia Premiere Bundle. The Chromecast and controller setup was quick and easy, and I jumped right into playing Gylt. Loving it so far. I was a bit disappointed that the list of free games is so small (I was hoping the Assasin’s Creed game was free with my 3 month sub, too, bah), but Gylt is indeed a blast. I really can’t wait for Elder Scrolls Online, though. Two quick questions: 1) Is there any way to set up “profiles” like on my Switch and PS4, so my kid can play and have her own saves? 2) When my sub runs out, can I still play any games I purchase? 3) When I travel, can I just bring my controller and Chromecast with me? How would I reconfigure the Chromecast’s WiFi from, say, my hotel? 4) Also, The games all seems really expensive, to be honest, esp since there’s no disc/resale potential. I don’t mind buying a digital game on the PS4, bc I know I’ll be able to play it for years and years (the console isn’t going anywhere). But Google is notorious for tanking its services and products, and I’m a bit concerned about buying digital games from them yet. Does Stadia ever run sales on their games? TIA for your thoughts. submitted by /u/Hoylegu [link] [comments]

  • Is Forcing 1440p or 4k Worth it?
    by /u/Marchief on June 6, 2020 at 4:53 pm

Recently Stadia released its 1440p support, previously, we only had the option of 1080p or 4k, so this middleground was much sought after. A lot of people still don't do the force thing because of having to install a chrome extension of some kind and fiddle with refreshes etc, understandable. But, is it really worth it, can it look that much better or is it just a waste of time? Well, heres your answer, i'll let you make up your mind but we tested 1080p, 1440p and 4k forced in Chrome on PC across 3 different games. Spoiler: I'll be forcing 1440p from now on. submitted by /u/Marchief [link] [comments]

  • Slow Stadia interface on CCU
    by /u/DaRk_ViVi on June 6, 2020 at 4:34 pm

Is it just me or the Stadia interface (when you select a game to play) is laggish on Chromecast Ultra? Everything is smooth and great, is this due to some CC limitations? submitted by /u/DaRk_ViVi [link] [comments]

  • Anyone else playing on Google Chrome/Chromium using Linux?
    by /u/markwoodhall on June 6, 2020 at 4:11 pm

Interested in how other people are getting on with Stadia using Google Chrome and/or Chromium on Linux. I'm using Arch Linux and Chromium and have had a flawless experience so far. I did have to resolve some screen tearing early on but that wasn't specific to Stadia. I'm really enjoying not having to worry about having a windows PC too. submitted by /u/markwoodhall [link] [comments]

  • Annoying Issue with Stadia
    by /u/Balth-czar on June 6, 2020 at 3:13 pm

They need to setup a better way to display games you own or looking through the store. I have 26 games on there already (most are because I'm a pro member since the beginning) but it is annoying to see what I have or even what I might want to buy. They need to figure it out before they get too many. It reminds me of Epic Games which is terrible. Please, this needs to be redesigned away from big tiles into something more user friendly. I have too many games to count on Steam but I can easily make up categories of games or mark favorites so they don't get lost in a sea of games. I can make a wish-list of games I'm interested in to follow those games to see if they go on sale. submitted by /u/Balth-czar [link] [comments]

  • What is in your opinion the best pro title on Stadia so far?
    by /u/SheepFaceInSpace on June 6, 2020 at 2:37 pm

Mine has been Steamworld Dig 2. A game that I enjoyed from start to finish. A game I would think has been overlooked by a lot of people who have claimed it. submitted by /u/SheepFaceInSpace [link] [comments]

  • Persistent mic setting (stay muted)
    by /u/ErikBlues on June 6, 2020 at 12:40 pm

I just don't want to have the mic on, whether it's for privacy reasons or I just don't want to talk. I hate it that you have to open the menu and change your mic setting to none, every time you get into a game. This idea has been copied from this post because I thought it deserved to be posted as a separate suggestion. submitted by /u/ErikBlues [link] [comments]
